Carrie Anne Moss Bio

Carrie-Anne Moss is best known for her role as "Trinity" in The Matrix trilogy, her first big movie break. At eleven, Moss began performing in a Vancouver-based children's musical theater group. When she went to Europe with her school choir during her senior year, she decided that the performing arts would be her career. She then enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, California.

After graduation, Carrie-Anne moved to Europe, which led to a successful, global modeling career. Once, while working in Spain, she was cast to appear regularly on the TV show, Dark Justice . When the series switched locations, she moved back to Los Angeles. She then landed a role in Aaron Spelling's series, Models, Inc.

She has also appeared in Red Planet , with Val Kilmer, and the Academy Award nominated Chocolat opposite Juliette Binoche, Johnny Depp, and Dame Judi Dench. Carrie-Anne Moss received an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the hit independent thriller Memento.

You will next see Moss in Matrix Revolutions , premiering world-wide on November 5, 2003. Later, she appears in another thriller, Suspect Zero , opposite Aaron Eckhart and Sir Ben Kingsley as well as in The Matrix Revolutions.
